A Message From Myself To Myself
June 14, 2020
Most of us are familiar with affirmations — saying loving things to ourselves we hope are true but can't quite feel yet. This is something different. This is the voice of your own deepest, most knowing self speaking directly to the part of you that is still searching, still carrying, still longing. Like a wiser version of yourself — the one who has already come through it — looking back with complete love and saying: I see you. I'm here. You are held. After I recorded this meditation, I would listen to it back in moments of stress or overwhelm. It would settle me. I offer it here in that same spirit.
So this is a message from mySelf to Myself. I love you. I created this all for you. I want nothing other than your happiness. And for you to know intimately beauty, love, peace, and true freedom. You are my child. And therefore, my connection with you is unconditional. My benevolence is bottomless. My love is immeasurable. My devotion is absolute.
My wish for you, if there was one, is to know this without reservation or uncertainty. But understandably, there may be, from time to time, confusion — temporary forays into limitation. And, if that's the case, simply know that I am readily accessible, instantaneously available in the midst of any experience, no matter what its coloration, no matter what intensity or valuation it can be ascribed. Know, as only you can know, my love for you — my absolute, limitless, ever-present love. When you know this, you are free.
I say "when" you know this, as if there could be a time when you couldn't. And that is part of the play of limitation.
My adoration is overflowing.
Know true freedom comes from knowing
who you are and where you come from.
Which isn't a place in space, or a moment in time. It is your essential Being as it always is and couldn't not be.
See that kindness is... is. See that kindness is. And see that anything that appears to be other-than kindness is an innocent misunderstanding. Understand all misunderstandings as innocent. All are innocent equally in the realm of limitation.
Be yourSelf a beacon unto yourSelf, and allow all to be as it is. Tend to the one task, and that is to remember Me. All other tasks should be subservient to this one. When this one taskless task is attended to, then righteousness will prevail, goodness will shine forth, love will be — love will be what is, unfiltered. Relatively unfiltered.
I say this to you lovingly, now and forever. Remember who you are. You are all that you have ever dreamed of. You are the very substance with which those dreams are made. There's nothing to do to know that, since knowing that is the nature of reality.
I love my Self. Which is to say, equally, I Am Myself. When I am not divided within mySelf, I Am Love. Love is simply remembering who you are. It's not an object that you can get. No particular people or objects or things have or contain love any more than anything else, since all experience is made only of Love. Every thing and every one is lovely — filled with love, made only of love.
Peace is remembering who you are.
No experience can be in opposition to itself.
So let experience be as it is.
Knowing yourSelf as the knowing itself puts you at odds with no one, since there is no one other-than your Self. Welcome experience. Embrace it. Love it as your child. Give it its full expression.
Know yourSelf. Know only knowing, and All-Is-Well.
